Norman appoints Ståle Ekelund as new Chief Technology Officer

Norway, Oslo – October 30, 2009 – The leading IT security company Norman ASA today announced the appointment of Ståle Ekelund as new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Ståle Ekelund has served 9 years with Accenture, most recently as senior manager at Accenture Technology Consulting managing the Infrastructure Consulting business area. Ekelund has an extensive experience within the IT security field working with companies like Evictus, IBM and Softronic AB.

As CTO, Ståle Ekelund will play a key role in the continued delivery and development of Norman’s products, strategy and technological vision. Ekelund will also focus on the development of Norman’s unique SandBox technology and security applications. The research for new innovative solutions will be organized out of Oslo, Norway and Norman’s development centre in Chandigarh, India

Ekelund will report to Norman’s Chief Executive Officer, Trygve Aasland.
